Kathleen A. Razi, Ph.D., LISW, LPCC
is President of Razi & Associates, Inc., an international training and organizational consulting firm serving individual and corporate clients from business, education, health care, manufacturing, social services, and telecommunications.
Dr. Razi brings more than 15 years of expertise and successful experience in business consulting and training. Some of her training programs include: Increasing Supervisory and Managerial Effectiveness, Developing Teams, Managing Transition and Change, Coaching and Counseling for Improved Work Performance, Interviewing Effectively, and Enhancing Creativity and Innovation. She has extensive work experience in the area of career management and has worked in complex systems as well as in small privately owned companies.
She is an author of articles in her area of expertise, a speaker, a presenter at both national and international conferences, and a college professor. She is also the co-developer of a collaborative model on mentoring, Mentoring for SuccessTM. She has been interviewed for Small Business News and National Employment Business Weekly-WSJ. Dr. Razi has completed a postgraduate training program in Organization and System Development through the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, Ohio, holds a certificate in Creative Studies from Buffalo State College, and certification in Mediation and Conflict Management from the Center for Applied Conflict Management, Kent State University; has a Ph.D. in Counseling and Human Development Services from Kent State University, with a concentration in Organization Development and Career Development; an M.S. degree in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University, and a BA degree in Psychology from Russell Sage College (Troy, NY).
In addition to her counseling, coaching and consulting practice, Dr. Razi currently serves as adjunct faculty at Baldwin-Wallace College and Rutgers University. She has also taught at Capital University - Cleveland Center, Kent State University, and Lake Erie College.
Dr. Razi is listed in several prestigious who's who publications, such as Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who Among Human Service Professionals, Women Executives, Two Thousand Notable Women, and International Who's Who of Professional and Business Women. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, a Licensed Independent Social Worker, Diplomat in Clinical Social Work, and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers. She is a member of numerous organizations and serves on various community boards.
